QtEukleides

QtEukleides is a versatile graphical front-end for creating geometrical constructions and figures using the simple declarative language of Eukleides software. QtEukleides is tested mainly on Linux, but at least all the basic features work already also on Windows. A binary package for straight installation on Windows will be provided at some point.

The original Eukleides is a rather old project and the graphical user interface XEukleides written for it is based on obsolete GTK+ 1.2. This means that its GUI is, at best, clunky and dreadfully ugly (or I'm just spoiled). The main goal of QtEukleides is to bring the excellent Eukleides software to match modern standards fitting it into a feature-packed, modern and multi-platform graphical user interface. QtEukleides should make it possible to rapidly create new figures and save them in standard image formats or in LaTeX code.

You can check the introduction to Eukleides to get started in making nice geometric figures. The official homepage of Eukleides contains a more exhaustive overview of the language.

To see why you should use QtEukleides instead of plain Eukleides or XEukleides and see what's up and coming to the software when I get to it, check the Features page.
